Spicy Thai Shrimp and Lemon Soup

4 cups water
4 spring onions, sliced
2 thumbs chopped ginger
Juice of a lemon
2 dried kaffir leaves
2 cloves garlic, chopped
1 red chili, seeded and chopped
2 tablespoon fish sauce
200g shrimp
1 tablespoon MSG
salt to taste

Assemble all ingredients in a soup pot, and boil gently for 5 minutes.
