Breeding goal: A blue/pink resists northern winters.
Expectations: 'Precious Candy' is from a cross of 'Rock Solid' and 'Zahadoom' - a cross
that has given several registered seedlings. It will be interesting to see what happens when on of the
most purplish of these seedlings is crossed with 'Blue Lake.'

Notes: June 27. FFO. Nice intensity of color, good scape height, not reallly "blue." Not apparent improvement over
parents grown in the South, but decent garden plant. The blooms are extraordinarily flat, and open bright and early.

Notes: July 17. Striking colors! Needs to be re-planted in more favorable location.
