Breeding goal: A tall, bearded flower.
Expectations: Texas Feathered Fancy is a short, 5" flower on a 20" scape. Not a good heaight to observe the beard!
Heavenly Angel is an 8" monster on a 36" scape. I expect it will take many generations for me to see results. I expect little of worth in the F1, I will cross
sibs with large flowers and tall scapes, expecting the bearding to be recessive.

Notes: July 31. FFO. Average flower. Very late FFO for this seedling. Nice branching, 20 buds - which is
excellent up here. Rather tall scape. The flower is not outstanding, but then again, the purpose is to back cross it to Texas
Feathered Fancy, or a sib. Next year!
